Amancio Ortega

Founding of Zara and Inditex:

In 1975, Ortega opened the first Zara store in A Coruña, offering affordable, fashionable clothing. The success of Zara led to the establishment of Inditex in 1985, which now encompasses several brands, including Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear, Bershka, and Stradivarius.

Business Model: Ortega is credited with pioneering the "fast fashion" model, characterized by rapid production cycles and swift adaptation to market trends, enabling Inditex to respond quickly to consumer demands.

(1913–2008) was a pioneering American winemaker whose innovative techniques and marketing strategies elevated California's Napa Valley wines to international acclaim. In 1966, he founded the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, aiming to produce wines that could rival Europe's finest. Today, the Robert Mondavi Winery continues his legacy, offering a range of wines and hosting events that celebrate the art of winemaking.

The Essence of Innovators: Shaping Solutions for Society

Innovators who create solutions for society share an unbound creativity, a fearless curiosity, and a vision that views life as a stage. They challenge norms, discern quality, and anticipate future needs—not just for profit but for purpose, driven by the belief that business can benefit humanity.

True to themselves, they shape spaces, products, and ideas that elevate daily experiences. Their work is an invitation, encouraging us to share in their vision and play our part in a world they’ve reimagined.

I am Mehmet “Memedi” Narin—a visionary with a global perspective shaped by a lifetime of building business across three continents. Influenced by the innovations of industry legends like Amancio Ortega, Robert Mondavi, Mark Dixon, and JC Decaux, I’m driven by a mission to transform retail into a more accessible, engaging, and sophisticated experience. My career began in the European textile business, grew with untapped opportunities in Asia, and has now brought me to California, where we are set on rewriting the retail landscape.

Today, we aim to democratize the luxury environment, creating spaces where younger generations can connect beyond the fast-food and Starbucks culture. Inspired by the elegance of airport business-class lounges, I am designing a space that provides the refined, comfortable environment of high-end travel—accessible for all. This Third Space concept not only redefines retail but offers a new place for communities to work, relax, and thrive.

Through the Third Space Phygital-Fusion Marketplace, we are opening doors for small-scale artisans, local and global, to reach consumers directly—without the overhead of physical stores. The idea is simple yet transformative: empower brands to connect with America’s vast consumer market, both virtually and physically, by creating alliances, not just transactions. Here, alternative brands will find their place alongside global giants, offering choice and authenticity to a market that deserves better.

We are here to disrupt, redefine, and democratize. Join us in building a future where luxury meets accessibility, and everyone has a place in the Third Space.
